My Aunt Mollie sent a photo album from my childhood days to honor the occasion of my 50th birthday...I viewed it incredulously, not believing that my sisters, brother or myself were ever that young, or perhaps that we could possibly be this old!
I starred into eyes full of life, love and hope. I saw the faces and mannerisms that resembled my own children and grandchildren. Generations traveling on through time. Suddenly it occurred to me why I wanted to write, and particularly why I wanted to write "Singing Down the Preacher" - to capture a moment in time. Words can express a feeling and create a memory for the reader to savor over and over again and they never wrinkle or fade.
Another way I would love to celebrate this milestone would be by answering other questions about "Singing Down the Preacher."
Thank you Aunt Mollie! I love you!
Love in Christ to all!
